Virtual Reality

Origin is a virtual reality project exploring Amerindian spirituality. This immersive audio-visual experience absorbs the user in an interactive environment exploring the four sections of the midicine wheel, an emblematic symbol of the aboriginal culture. Made in collaboration with an Atikamekw painter, Julie-Christina Picher, this digital piece also aims to further integrate native art into the contemporary art scene.

This project was made with Unity3D and Google cardboard. The user can explore 4 different environment by moving himself around the four sections of the medecine wheel.

I encourage you to watch the preview. An updated version will be displayed at Concordia during the Spectrum exhibition.
